New Frontier was purchased in the 2014 Warner Beef Genetics “Genetic Investment Sale” by J & K Farms as the high selling bull.  He is full brother to DLW Alumni, the 2014 Breeder’s Choice Gelbvieh Bull Futurity winner.  His dam, DLW Ms Matron 802U has produced 5 sons that are working in purebred seedstock programs.   

New Frontier is a herd sire with genetics and GE EPDs that that rank him in the top 1% of the Gelbvieh breed for weaning weight, total maternal, calving ease maternal, yield grade, ribeye area and FPI.  The to 2% for yearling weight, top 5% for carcass weight, top 15% for calving ease and milk, top 25% for low birth and the top 30% for marbling.
